Birthday Card using Cupcake Cuttlebug Embossing Folder

This card is a bit of a happy accident!!! It started life as a white embossed background which i stuck some ribbon to and was going to use some dovecraft cup cake decopage on, but when i looked at the decoupage it was really badly cut infact it looked like a child had cut it out, there was white on some sides and the cut had gone into the design in other parts. I was not using that on a card!

So i sat and looked at it for a while!! and i got my tri markers by Letraset out, these are like the original promarkers i think, i have had them 10 years since i studied graphic design at college and we needed them for our course and they are still going strong!! The only difference is they have 3 nibs not 2 like promarkers!

So I had a little colour, ut i think colouring them all would have been too much so just random ones were coloured! Then i popped a little bit of stickles over the coloured in and not coloured in so they twinkled!!
Added a shop brought greeting and voila!
The embossing folder is from the new Cricut companions range and this was from the Once Upon an Princess pack

I think it turned out OK in the end!
