Things feel like they are moving slowly but i am working hard!
I moved some more of my heavy old dies over to my metal shelves (reclaimed from old craft room)
Then popped a few more things on them...the hamper is FULL of card blanks (i never need another card blank as long as i live!!)
Then realised that i had built the shelves upside down - what a muppett - so had to shift all of the blooming dies and dismantle them!
They are 2 sets of shelves that screw on top of each other and i had put the tops on the bottom!!
The shelves have not been much fun...they were under my worktop in my old craftroom but the work top had dropped and i could not get them out again!! I really had to struggle to dismantle them and it was like some sort of mind puzzle getting them out of there - only one more set to free!
This was the one finished shelf with stuff piled onto it! This is not where stuff is staying but i am just shifting stuff in to sort once my shelves arrive a week on Friday from IKEA...that's right i have to wait a fortnight from ordering them for delivery, by which time i will be back at work!!! Grrr @ IKEA you have let me down!
Oh and some more big (well big in the world of moving craft rooms) I have filled my drawers, yes you did read correctly they are FULL! All 40 of them! And it is just cardstock, full of cardstock...something else i never need buy again!
The nightmare that is my old craft room, i never realised there was so much stuff shoe-horned in there!!
This is just one corner of stuff i have piled up during the moving and sorting!

The pile is building up so very quickly and the old craft room still looks full arrrgghhhh!!!
I am also having issues with lighting...i just don't think energy saving bulbs are as bright and they seem to be all you can buy these days so i may need to invest in a couple of desk lamps to brighten this place up...i love a nice bright room
And for my final photo.............................

It's looking good.
I wonder if a daylight bulb might help...if you can still get those that is!
Oh my God Lisa, I will never ever feel guilty for the amount of craft stuff I have - I pale into insignificance next to you!
I first saw your progress last week, it is really coming along now! What a fab hubby and father-in-law you have! Hee hee, I have been scrapping for about 6 years and have less than one tenth of your craft stuff and battle to organise it, so hat off to you when you get that all done. I look forward to seeing the finished room. :)
It is looking good Lisa, love the wooden drawers. My craft room looks more like your old one, I need to make a decision about the knitting machine, if it goes I will have a whole wall for storage!
