Happy Valentines Day!!

This is what Rob received from me for valentines day, valentines day is also his birthday - I moan about this every year - how selfish am I??!!
We have had a nice day, we visited Rob's family this morning and have just had a lovely dinner of steak with chips and mushrooms!
I got a lovely thumb ring for valentines day, It is silver and a wishbone V sort of shape,  i had asked for it as i had lost my old one as it was a little too big so this one has a perfect fit and looks all shiny and nice!

This was his card, somthing quite simple, make with my scrummy MS elephant punch, I love the way the little ears pop out!

And a bag which held his birthday money and 2 lucky in love scratchcards, i got him a scratchcard for his stocking at chrsitmas and he won £10 so i thought any winnings would bump up his birthday money, sadly he won nothing!

The bag is a bigz XL die, and i cut the little heart out before sticking all the bits together, using a small scalloped heart nestabilities die.

I may be a bit late blogging tomorrow as I do not know what the day will bring, I have an appointment at the hospital in the morning which i am not looking forward to!
I am diabetic and have been controlling it with tablets for 2 years but the nurse was not happy and wants me to start having injections, when she told me a couple of weeks ago I had a whole 2 days of crying outbursts as i am petrified od injections! I feel a little calmer now, but bet i wont be come the morning! I will let you know how i get on, i usually keep my normal life seperate from my crafting life on this blog but this is a biggie for me so wanted to share!

Valentines hugs and kisses

Lisa xXx

Lovely card, aren't the elephants cute? You are lucky to have a romantic partner, mine is the opposite.
Try not to worry about the hospital. I look after a little girl at school who is diabetic and give her her insulin etc. You will prob have a special nurse who you can turn to and ask questions and once your levels are settled it will be normal for you. Sending you hugs anyway.

Beautiful makes - bet your oh was well chuffed. Hope tomorrow turns out to be a good one. Will have fingers crossed for you - my step son is a diabetic from age 13 and he assures me it doesnt hurt injecting yourself - completely diff. from when you need an ordinary injection - strange!?!
