Christmas Basket - Decorated with Sizzix Winter Embossing Folders

I have been having an experiment with some ideas for gift baskets for Christmas - it is nealy September now so i feel i can type the C word without wincing!

This little basket is so cute, they were at a car boot that Helen and i went to the other week, for just 10p each!!!
We brought 30 each which seemed like a fab idea and a great bargain, but mine are still filling up the boot of my little car!! Helen will vouch for this from when we went out to Hobbycraft on Thursday!!

Talking of Hobbycraft, the decoration on the baskets is made from the Sizzix Winter embossing folders and Bazzil Card that Hobbycraft sent to me, these should be in stores soon - gems and pearls are also from Hobbycraft for the great price of 99p for a little box full!!

I just LOVE this little snowflake, i cut the 2 circles that i planned to mat and layer using some circles nestabilities and embossed the cut shape. I think this is the best way to do it as die cutting an embossed shape can ruin the embossing sometimes

The band round the center was also embossed with the winder folders in 2 strips then joined under the embellished snowflake

I will update you with what i am going to fill these with nearer the time! I also plan to do aome in red and green for a bit more of a traditional basket!

Hugs
