Go Kreate Calendar Tutorial - With a little bit of blog candy thrown in!

I always make my family a calendar for Christmas!
This years offerings were a little different to my usual beer mat style ones, but they went down really well!

Not only have i put together a little tutorial for these babies but I am also offering some calendar tabs to some lucky commenters!! I have 4 sets of 5 calendar tabs - these will be drawn at random on Thursday Evening s get your comments in before then - only one comment each please!

The calenders were created using some XL frame dies (frilly #1)  from Go Kreate
you need to cut one from patterned card / paper and 2 from basic card stock in the same colour.

score one of the plain frame die cuts width ways

and fold in half

you then need to glue / tape the folded frame to the back of the other plain frame, this makes the base of the calendar and will enable it to be stood on a desk!

You then need to stick the patterned / coloured frame to the front and decorate as your heart desires!!
There are some more piccies of mine below!

Products used:
Patterned papers and card from stash
Go Kreate dies: XL Frames - Frilly #1, Concentrics - Frilly Square #1
Embellishments: K n Co

Don't forget to leave a comment if you fancy some calendar tabs to have a play with!

Great gift Lisa. I notice you used the big dies. Any tips on how to use it in the Big Shot Pro? The big dies, obviously to big for the ordinary Big Shot. But the Pro doesn't have A Pro size multi purpose platform so I haven't got the depth to use the dies in the Pro.
Any help will be greatly received.
hugs Sarah
p.s. I am also from Wolverhampton, Wednesfield and we both have our card classes on display at Hobbycraft!

This is a splendid idea Lisa. I made dozens of calendars for craft fairs this year but they were a lot of work and hassle. This is sublimely simple and yet so effective.
I have only just got a set of Go Kreate XXL dies and I just had to try it out to make my daughter a calender for work. Fandabbydozey!
Thank you for the inspiration.
