I am really please with these embossing folders, they arrived yesterday and i had to have a little play!!
There are 4 in a pack and they are much better sized than the older folders (which i do still love despite the faults!!) you get 2 5"x7" and 2 4.25" x 5.75" they are called cricut companions as they are meant to go with the carts, i have used the Robotz set for these cards which i do have the cart for too but have not had a good play yet!
So all 3 cards were made from this one embossed 5x7 sheet, i will add now that this card is so mirrored that i had to take about 100 photos!!!
So i chopped up the embossed images into little squares and cut some mats out for them with my square nesties
And that was it really just lots of matting and layering!!
This card i did with men in mind, the other 2 are more of a childrens card, but i reckon all 3 only took me 30 min from start to finish and this little fairy has been known to spend 4 hours on a card before!
On the 2 robot cards i did emboss the background silver with a chequerplate type folder that came in the set to give them a bit more depth
I just love these robots!! I have a real thing for robots at the mo, i keep seeing robot gifts and ornaments and really want one!! And the robot stuff on etsy is just to die for!
Hope you liked them all, i will do some more mens cards with the tools at a later date i just wanted a little straight-outta-the-pack play about!!
Hugs

P.S New camera and mini studio make mirror card much better to photograph!!

Oh Lisa, how fun are those little robots. As a newbie to Cuttlebug, can these dies and Sizzix ones be used safely in the Cuttlebug? Love your ideas, keep smiling!
