Cricut - Large Name 18th Birthday Card with Butterflies and Pin

You are probably bored to death with these large name cards, but they are great for a quick card - you don't really need a cricut to make these, you could use a Robo or other electric or manual die cutter or even print a template in word and handcut your letters - my hand cutting is awful which is why i think i love die cutters so much!!

Some layered Ms butterflys punched from the waste from cutting the letters, embellished with gems and glued onto the knot in the ribbon that the pin has been pushed through.

The ribbon and wooden butterfly are from hobbycraft, i love those little red wooden embellishments and have about 5 packs stashed away!!!

The trail from the butterfly is nail gems - i got them from ebay about 5 years ago and they never look like they are going to run oout!

18 was hand drawn with PVA and gems set into it - this was not easy and i may not bother again!!

Top Tip - snip off the pointy end of the pin with wire snips to stop anyone pricking their finger!!

Hugs
